About Uncle Moshe Farm

Uncle Moshe Farm was founded in 1978 in Kfar Truman, located 10 minutes drive from Ben Gurion Airport.

The farm is a resort village and a training center for dogs that stretches across 15 dunams and provides professional, devoted and loving care for the dogs residing in it.

The farm was founded by Moshe Engelberg in his youth. His love for dogs as well as his deep understating for their needs and behavior have led him to establish a special farm for them while they are far from their owners.

The farm has grown and evolved over the years, and up to this day we strive to preserve the foundation stones upon which it was established:

Today, the farm is managed by Moshe Engelberg’s son, Danny, who grew up all his life on the farm. Danny’s love for dogs is felt on every corner of the farm: from meticulous care for their needs to uncompromising selection of the most professional staff. Moshe, Danny and the farm workers see it as a second home for dogs.

The Dog Expert Center

They say that the dog is man’s best friend, and we believe it wholeheartedly. Therefore, every dog on the farm has an optimal stay experience, which includes a warm care, devotion and full concern for his/her wellbeing.

The farm has plenty of guest suites for the hotel dogs, allowing us to be available for you, even at short notice.

Meet Uncle Moshe

Moshe Engelberg is the oldest and most experienced dog trainer in Israel, who lives in the Kfar Truman, where he raised his children, who ran around the farm, absorbed his infinite love for dogs and helped with taking care of them.

Moshe received his training in South Africa, where he was born in 1941, and when he immigrated to Israel in the late 1960s, he became the pioneer in every one of the country’s dog handling areas:

• The first to train dogs for the prestigious “Schutzhold” test
• Leading in the field of training dogs for operational employment in the IDF
• One of the most prominent in certifying guide dogs for the blind
• One of the founders of the Israeli Kennel Association and the Israeli Dog Training Club

Famous dog figures who were trained by Moshe and you know:

Tulip from “Ocean in the Air”, “Azit the Paratrooper Dog”, the dog Stecker – a symbol of the Electric Company and his beloved “Dog Arrow”, who has turned from an obsessive and disrespectful player to an excellent one in the drama series “Take the Dog” broadcasted by HOT cable company.

Moses’ varied knowledge and experience were also directed at theoretical training, while serving as a guest lecturer at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, for many years.

Moshe’s sensitivity to the smallest needs of the creatures who walks on four legs has turned the resort village into one of the most successful in the industry. He set the highest standards, insisting on the right of dogs to relax in spacious suites, play in huge lawns and enjoy fine and healthy food as well as close care of a carefully selected team of therapists.
